At Northern Star Education, we have created a Student Profile Form to know you better, from your school performance to your favorite subjects, sports, or activities. Knowing the student’s priorities and expectations will better help us evaluate the student’s eligibility and school availability before we submit the application on your behalf.
Student Profile
Program Selection
When you are choosing a school, not only you are looking at the location, total number of students, nationality mix, premises and school features, but also the type of curriculum you enroll.
There are various options: National or provincial, IGCSE and A Levels, Advance Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB). We will explore these program options with the student and their parents during the online session.
Accommodation Selection
Homestay is the most common form of accommodation for international students, most schools offer homestay accommodation. Host families are usually recruited, thoroughly interviewed, trained, and monitored making sure international students have a safe and healthy environment.
Boarding accommodation offers a supportive environment in which students practice inclusivity and learn to collaborate as a part of a community. The residences can be for single-gender, or co-ed; and students, whether local or international, live in the school campus under the boarding staff supervision.
School Selection
When you are choosing a school, not only you are looking at the location, a total number of students, nationality mix, premises, and school features, but also the school focus such as:
College/University preparatory, Arts centered, Sports centered, Traditional, Religious, Military IB curriculum, Technology/Science centered, International or Catholic. We will explain in more details during the online consultation session.
Application Support
The application process can be time-consuming and detailed, the positive outcome of the process is nothing but the result of teamwork among parents, students, and our specialized team.
There are three steps to take into account:
A- Preparation of documentation
B- Submission of Application
C- Student’s Acceptance
Credit Equivalences
Once the student has successfully completed the study program in a foreign country, it is important to apply for the validation of the credit back in your country of origin.
The credit equivalences requirements are established by the education regulatory bodies in your own country. Generally, the foreign school will furnish the official documents for the student to complete that process.
